Delicious honey, produced locally in the Warwickshire countryside
Local Raw Honey
Our Honey is very simple. It is removed from the hives, extracted from the honey comb, strained to remove wax debris, left to settle and then bottled into glass jars. It is as natural as it comes, 100% raw, untreated, unpasteurised local honey.
Honey Bee Swarms
A honey bee swarm is a large cluster of bees looking for a new home. We will rescue and re-home swarms free of charge. If you think you have a swarm, click the link below for more information about swarms and to get in touch.
Honey Bee Removals
Honey bees nesting in the fabric of your building is neither ideal for the bees nor the building. We are now offering a bee nest removal service, re-homing them at one of our local apiaries. As this is a new service we are offering, it will be heavily discounted.
Our Apiaries
We currently have two main apiaries; Woods and Fields. We are looking to expand, so please contact us if you have a site available for 10+ hives.
Nucleus Colonies
We are preparing to offer overwintered 6 frame poly nucleus colonies for sale in future, bred from our own stock.
Queens
Open mated queens will be available soon. Our queens are bred from our stock, consisting of: locally adapted, Buckfast and Carniolan queens.
About us
The Leamington Honey Company was founded in 2020. We are a small scale, family run, honey and bee farming business. All of our honey is simply extracted, strained, and then bottled, giving a high quality raw honey. We currently run two apiaries with around 20 individual colonies between them. We regularly catch bee swarms and also offer a service to remove bee nests from homes and gardens.
As a family we are all focused on becoming net zero carbon emitters and sustainable in everything we do. We have started at home by fitting solar panels, driving electric vehicles and using a wood burner to drastically reduce our gas consumption. In the very near future we plan to install an air source heat pump, solar thermal and excessive amounts of insulation.
This obsession extends to the Leamington Honey Company. Firstly we will never purchase, use, or sell, single use plastics within our business. We plan to purchase an electric van for beekeeping duties as soon as possible, as our current EV is not large enough.
